The experience of building or remodeling is an emotional process for most people. But it doesn’t have to be the bad experience that so often are the only experiences you hear about. After being around the local homebuilding/remodeling industry for nearly 20 years now, I assure you that there are more good builders out there that there are bad ones. And the good ones are more than happy to provide you with the information you need in order to make an informed decision when you decide to buy a spec home, build a new home or remodel your existing home.

Unfortunately, many people get caught up in their own emotion. They see a lovely home and immediately decide to hire a builder based on their impression of that home. In fact, it has been said over and over again that most people spend more time evaluating which automobile they buy than they spend deciding who they want to entrust to build their home with. While your impression of the finished product is important, there is far more that needs to be evaluated before you make a decision.
